At ABC Blind & Drapery, it’s important that your window treatment installation with us is seamless from start to finish— by visiting our showroom, meeting with your designer, choosing your new window treatments and having them installed. The following is what to expect when you commit to a window treatment design and are preparing to meet with our installation team.
Once the design is decided upon and the windows are measured, the design consultant will give you an accurate estimate for your window treatments. If you wish to continue the process with ABC Blind & Drapery, we accept a 50% deposit at the time of your order. We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, a check or cash.
We have our own production facility so we can provide you with a custom made product to fit your windows. The custom window coverings should take about two to three weeks to manufacture in most cases. Some higher end products such as custom shutters or draperies may take longer.
Once the order comes in, we check it for accuracy and assess the condition. Phil Figueroa, our service manager, will then contact you to schedule the custom window treatment installation. We ask that there be nothing leaning up against the windows and that there is a clear path to each window for installation. One of the advantages of working with ABC Blind & Drapery is that we have our own installation team, so you can be comfortable knowing that qualified ABC Blind & Drapery representatives are in your home, rather than contracted installers.
When the window treatment installation is to your satisfaction, we will collect the remaining balance. It is important that you are available for a quick demonstration of how the window coverings operate. In the unlikely event that you or the installation team discovers any repairs or warranty issues, we can address them quickly because of our local production facility.
