If you need new custom window coverings and have decided that you would like to work with ABC Blind & Drapery, this is how the process works.

The first step is contacting ABC Blind & Drapery.  You can call 512-222-6338 and our Show Room Coordinator, Virginia White, will greet you and help guide you through the next steps.  If you prefer, you can click here and get set up for a consultation.  After giving us some more information about you, one of our designers will call you back, answer any questions you may have and set up an appointment.  Even if you aren’t sure that you want to work with ABC Blind & Drapery, there is no commitment by calling or setting up a consultation.  We would love to help give you more information and answer any questions you may have.

The next step is scheduling an in-home visit.  We do this at no charge in the greater Austin area.    During the in-home consultation, one of our experienced designers will visit with you about your needs and desired style.  Our designer will also take measurements to ensure an accurate and custom fit.  We also guarantee our measurements.  An in-home consultation includes: a review of your needs and desires; sample books of products, patterns, and color options; a measurement of the windows; and a detailed quote. After the in-home consultation, you are not obligated to buy window treatments from ABC Blind & Drapery; however, based on customer experience we’re confident that you will!

After measuring the windows, the consultant will give you an accurate estimate for your window treatments.  If you wish to continue the process with ABC Blind & Drapery, we accept a 50% deposit at the time of your order.

We have our own production facility so we can provide you with a custom made product to fit your windows.  The custom window coverings should take about two to three weeks to manufacture in most cases.  Some higher end products such as custom shutters or draperies may take longer.

Once the order comes in, we check it for accuracy and assess the condition.  Our service manager will then contact you to schedule the installation of your new custom window treatments.  Another advantage of working with ABC Blind & Drapery is that we have our own installation team, so you can be comfortable knowing that qualified ABC Blind & Drapery representatives are in your home, not an installer we contract out to.

After the window treatments are installed to your satisfaction, we will collect the remaining balance.  If there are any repairs or warranty issues, we can address them quickly because of our local production facility.
