We shared this event last year as well but it’s too good to pass up, Movies in the Park is a series of free films held in parks all over Austin by the Austin Parks Foundation. Pack your car with blankets, chairs, and snacks and head on over to the designated park to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends or family!

One of our very favorite spring events at ABC Blind & Drapery – KGSR’s “Unplugged at the Grove” is an Austin music lovers dream. Free music at The Shady Grove every Thursday night throughout spring and into the summer!

Music lovers, this event is for you too!! But if we’re being honest, everyone in Austin loves music right? Old Settler’s Music Festival features three days of Americana and roots rock, camping, family events, food, and drinks.
Dates: April 13th-14th
Art City Austin is held in the Palmer Events Center on April 13th and 14th. There will be 200 locally and nationally recognized artists and galleries at this family-friendly event featuring local food trailers, beer, cocktails and interactive projects for kids of all ages.
Dates: April 26th-28th
From tastings to cooking demos, you’ll leave the Austin Food + Wine Festival with the full culinary experience. This festival includes some of the top chefs, sommeliers, and winemakers from all over the nation, so you’re in for a real treat.
Dates: May 4th-5th
The Pecan Street Festival is the oldest and largest arts festival in Central Texas and is held in downtown Austin’s Historic Sixth Street District. This two-day festival brings in hundreds of local and national artists, offering endless choices of original handcrafted art.
